“Todxs somos defensorxs” es una iniciativa que impulsa la Asociación Azul Originario (AZO), en alianza con la Asociación de Estudiantes LGBTI+ de la Universidad de El Salvador (LGBTI+UES), con el fin principal de contribuir al fortalecimiento de las capacidades de la población joven, que se encuentra en situaciones de vulnerabilidad social y económica.
En su agenda de trabajo señalaron la importancia de acciones de estas organizaciones juveniles, que se enfocaron en actividades dirigidas a la investigación, educación e incidencia, para que el grupo de jóvenes que participó del encuentro se reconozcan como personas “defensoras de derechos humanos”, en y para sus localidades.
La Asociación Azul Originario (AZO), en alianza con la Asociación de Estudiantes LGBTI de la Universidad de El Salvador (LGBTI+UES) iniciaron el proyecto “Todxs somos defensorxs” desde el Plan de Derechos y Dignidad, una iniciativa de cooperación que se implementa a través de Countepart International, Partners El Salvador, la Fundación para el Debido Proceso (DPLF) y financiamiento de la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID).
Este proyecto permitió llegar a varios grupos de jóvenes, distribuidos en tres regiones: Sonsonate, San Salvador y San Miguel, proyecto que culminará el próximo domingo 15 de marzo, en el Parque Cuscatlán, al realizar un encuentro que permitirá una retroalimentación con los resultados de las tres fases que se implementaron.
Sobre las temáticas abordadas del sondeo se identificó la necesidad de protocolos de atención a víctimas, desde la mirada interseccional de las instituciones relacionadas a la seguridad y justicia; así también, el desarrollo de la escuela de derechos humanos denominada “Todxs somos Defensorxs”, como el campamento realizado previamente en donde se desarrollaron murales, jornadas de serigrafía y aplicaciones del añil, y como último logro, la redacción de la “Guía de Actuación en caso de Violaciones de Derechos Humanos de las Juventudes”.
Este próximo domingo, también la población en general podrá tener acceso a la muestra de logros del proyecto de juventudes, con una exposición itinerante denominada
“Otra Vulnerable”, que permitirá acceso a las realidades y condiciones en que viven las poblaciones vulnerables, la muestra artística enfatizará también la importancia de sensibilizarse como sociedad más democrática e incluyente.
En cuanto a la Guía de Actuación en caso de Violaciones de Derechos Humanos de las Juventudes, las organizaciones esperan poner en manos del liderazgo juvenil y organizaciones de la sociedad civil y público en general una herramienta práctica para la defensa de estos derechos humanos a grupos específicos como la juventud, la población LGBTI+, mujeres y población afro-índigena.
