El Ministerio de Defensa de Palestina ha denunciado este domingo que han sido 91 los connacionales fallecidos en ataques a 19 familias durante los últimos 11 días de bombardeos israelíes sobre la Franja de Gaza.
La máxima autoridad sanitaria de Palestina resaltó que del total de fallecidos, 41 son menores de edad y 25 mujeres. Medios locales precisaron además que este domingo un vehículo de la Policía israelí atropelló a un niño por izar una bandera de palestina en su bicicleta en el barrio ocupado de Ras al-Amoud en Jerusalén.
“La familia Abú Auf perdió nueve miembros, incluido un niño y cinco mujeres en un bombardeo israelí sobre su casa en Ciudad de Gaza”, ha explicado el Ministerio, mientras que la familia más afectada fue la familia Al Kaulak, que perdió 21 miembros en los ataques israelíes, incluidos ocho menores y seis mujeres, insistió la entidad. El pasado 20 de mayo el Ministerio de Sanidad había reportado “232 palestinos fallecidos, incluidos 65 niños, 39 mujeres y 17 ancianos” y 1900 personas heridas” por los ataques israelíes contra la Franja de Gaza.
El Consejo de Derechos Humanos de las Naciones Unidas (Cdhnu) ordenó el jueves 27 de mayo llevar a cabo una investigación sobre posibles “abusos sistemáticos” de Israel contra Palestina, haciendo énfasis en los bombardeos a la Franja de Gaza.
