El fiscal general de la República, Rodolfo Delgado, dijo en la entrevista de Canal 10, que El Salvador vive una serie de transformaciones; la más palpable es la de seguridad, que ha ejecutado el gabinete “bajo el liderazgo del presidente Nayib Bukele” y con el acompañamiento de la FGR.
“Creo que la seguridad ha permitido que otros ámbitos se empiecen a desarrollar y poco a poco los salvadoreños van a sentir más de cerca cada una de una de las transformaciones que se realizan en nuestro país”, enfatizó el fiscal delgado, impuesto por Nuevas Ideas.
Para el funcionario, la seguridad “es la base de todo”, ya que “sin seguridad no puede existir desarrollo económico, no puede existir tranquilidad para las familias salvadoreñas. Parte de nuestros esfuerzos es precisamente el combate de los homicidios y en ese rubro es que se ha logrado un gran avance”, remarcó Delgado en el espacio de entrevista.
El funcionario dijo que la FGR trabaja en intentar resolver la mayor cantidad de homicidios posibles. Tomando en cuenta que los números se han reducido significativamente de acuerdo a las cifras oficiales. La medida que el gobierno ha tomado para combatir la criminalidad, es el régimen de excepción, medida estatal que violenta los derechos humanos de miles de personas, sobre todo, de aquellos que han sido capturados de forma arbitraria y que nada tienen que ver con pandillas.
El régimen de excepción ha llevado a los tribunales a 65,403 supuestos pandilleros, de ellos, más de 3,700 personas salieron de prisión debido a que eran inocentes, según lo explicó el propio presidente de la República, Nayib Bukele.
“Lo importante del Régimen de Excepción es que es una solución creada para los problemas de los salvadoreños. En algún momento, el liderazgo del señor presidente, Nayib Bukele, ha permitido una verdadera integración entre las autoridades que conforman el gabinete de seguridad y lógicamente nosotros como FGR debíamos de sumarnos a ese esfuerzo porque somos un componente importante dentro del sistema de justicia de El Salvador”, enfatizó el fiscal general.
“Estamos trabajando para que se vean los logros de una nueva fiscalía, que está trabajando por los intereses de El Salvador”, destacó el funcionario.
La FGR, según organizaciones de la sociedad civil, está doblegada a los intereses y peticiones del presidente de la República. Con la declaración del funcionario muestra que sigue lineamientos del Ejecutivo, a pesar de que la FGR es un órgano de Estado separado del Ejecutivo.
También, en la entrevista de Canal 10, Delgado anunció que en los próximos días se creará una Dirección Nacional de Fiscales Penitenciarios que se encargará “de verificar la ejecución de todas las penas contra los pandilleros”.
Habrá recodar que el Estado ha capturado a más de 65 mil supuestos pandilleros desde la implementación del régimen de excepción (27 de marzo 2022), en su mayoría son acusados de agrupaciones ilícitas, delito que contempla penas de 20 a 30 años de prisión.
“Vamos a garantizar de que cada uno de los procedimientos del proceso penal se cumpla conforme a la ley y que se esa forma, las personas que han cumplido con su condena de una manera adecuada salgan en libertad y que las personas que de alguna forma no merecen volver a la libertad, permanezcan en reclusión”, concluyó Delgado.
